The Bike is still in the shop.

The parts are on special order.

We won’t get the bike until Wednesday at the earliest.

I’m super pissed!

Rainy Day Blues

Why does the nice weather always show its shining face when I can’t get out and enjoy it? We’ve had 75-80 degree weather all week, but of course the bike’s been in the shop. Just as I find out I’m getting the bike back tomorrow, I have to deal with rain and chilly weather again before we can get out and ride. To make matters worse, I only got to enjoy 1 day of riding last week before the bike went back into the shop again. We had picked it up on Friday after sitting around all week waiting for my new tires to show up, and when we finally got them put on and we were ready to ride, the breakage incident happened.

Oh well, at least I get it back tomorrow. As for an update, the manufacturer did cover everything without me having to yell lawyer this time. They had to replace the left rear fork, chain & sprocket, a push rod, the clutch assembly, and a break line. If things keep breaking my baby’s going to be practically brand new again!

I just hope the rain moves out of here quickly.  Hubby is supposed to go hit a few golf balls with his dad and boss this Saturday.  His boss is taking them to one of the private golf resorts around Highlands that my father in law has really wanted to check out.

Charter Pt 7

This is a series I have called Charter Communications Rant that is simply about all the issues I have had with Charter over the past 3 years, and how pissed I am at them.

So I made an appointment for the tech to arrive on March 2nd. How did that go? Well, the appointment was from 8am-noon. I drug myself out of bed at 8:30 knowing the tech hadn’t arrived yet. I knew this because a. Charter techs are supposed to call you 30 minutes before they arrive and b. no matter what your appointment window is, they will always show up at the last minute. So I made myself some coffee, started some house cleaning, blogged a little, watched my internet cut in and out a few times, surfed the web a little, and realized it was already 12:30. Where did the time go? Wait? Where’s my tech?
