Clean Up Time

I just realized today how much I have really neglected my own pc over the last few weeks.  Of course I’ve done my typical daily cleanups, and I’ve got a couple programs set to auto-run for spyware twice a week, but normally I spend so much more time making sure I keep my personal computer clean and organized.  Right now my desktop looks like it threw up, and my files are everywhere.  It took me 30 minutes to find a text file I use for work almost everyday.  That’s just ridiculous!

I’ve just been so busy with everything I’ve got going on that I haven’t taken the time to touch my personal pc.  I spent most of the weekend out and about with hubby and friends, and I slept the rest of it away.  I spent last week constantly working on customer’s computer’s, so I didn’t take a bit of time for my own.  I really don’t want to even think about the state of hubby’s at this point.  He doesn’t do anything for it!  I guess he knows he can just yell at me when something is acting fishy, and I’ll be in there to fix it within seconds.  I’ve really got to start setting aside time on a daily basis again to take care of my own computer’s needs.

Congrats Old Friend

It’s always nice to see friend’s who I haven’t seen in a long time.  Tonight we got to spend a few hours with a guy who used to be one of our best friends.  Sadly he got wrapped up in the world of meth, and he eventually he fell out of the circle of friends quite like what one of my other best friends is doing now.  Seeing our friend tonight for the first time in a year made me feel awesome because he’s living proof of what drug rehab can do.  It really can turn your life around.  Now he’s got a good job, and he knows we’re here for him.  We were here for him then, but he chose to ignore that friendship.  We all know drugs will make you do things like that, and it’s nice to have him back clear headed and sober.
