Sorting My Books
I slept a lot longer than I had planned to today. Then again I went to bed a lot later than I had planned as well. I spent some time going through my books last night now that I’ve joined PaperBackSwap.com (thanks Joanna!). I don’t have a whole lot of books listed yet, but you can see what I do have on my bookshelf.
I’ve got a ton of books to list, but I’ve got to see which ones I want to keep to reread and which ones I want to give away. I spent about 4 hours going to books, and as I was sitting down to list a few more I picked up one and realized I hadn’t read it. I’ve got so many books that the ones I haven’t read have been hidden behind the ones I have read. As usual I flipped open the book, read through the first page, and I was lost in the book. I made it about 3/4 of the way through the book before my eyes began closing on me around 5:30am.
I’m like that with all my books. When I start reading something I forget about everything else. I totally engross myself in the book until I’m finished, and I’ll normally finish it in 1 or 2 nights tops. The current books is Linda Howard Dying To Please, and I’m sure I’ll be done with it by the end of the night tonight.
Right now hubby’s home complaining he’s hungry though, so I’m going to go fix him a bite to eat. There’s a reason he’s home, so I’ll explain in a bit.
