Everyday Randomness

I know I’ve been complaining all week about the weather, but I have to say overall the weather has turned out to be nice.  Hubby and I were both worried because he only has outside work to do this week, so any rain would have put him out of work.  Three days this week he’s gone into work fully expecting to have to leave very early only to see the weather clear up and the sun come out.

I’m still bummed about having to cancel our trip this weekend, but there was just no way I was taking the bike to Deal’s Gap knowing there was any chance of rain.  The last time we headed up on a 50% chance we ended up stuck at the camp ground all day while it rained.

Right now it looks like things will clear up for that area during the day tomorrow, but by 1pm some pretty nasty weather will be rolling in.  Of course we wouldn’t get there until 10 or 11am, so riding for 2-3 hours before the nasty stuff shows up is just a wasted trip for us.  I’m hoping next weekend will turn out nicer, but you just can’t judge things like that this time of the year.

Anywho, I shall return later.  I have a laptop sitting here with a case of the Vista nasties.  I promised the owner I’d have it ready to go by their lunch break.  Plus, it’s hard to type with a 67lb bulldog snoring in your lap.
