67lb Dog Destroys Door

This is now what my shitty front door jam looks like.

No, no one tried to rob me or pry it open with a crowbar.  The dog did this.

YES THE DOG!

He was out in the yard playing with one of his toys, and the next thing I knew I heard something slam against the door.  I looked up to see the door swinging open.  Bubba slung his toy on the porch, and when he went after it he hit the door so hard he completely busted the crappy old door jam.

I locked the cat in the bedroom so he can’t make his own escape, took a picture, and called Hubby.  His reaction to the picture was wtf happened?  When I started telling him what exactly happened, he burst out in laughter.

Geez, now my front door won’t close obviously.  Luckily the weather is back to being pretty nice, so I left Bubba outside and latched the screen door.  My office happens to be in the front room of the house, so at least I’ve got an eye on things.  The light coming in the screen door is casting a huge glare on my monitor.

*sigh*

Hubby will be home in an hour and 1/2 with the stuff to fix it.
