Freddie The Pyro Strikes

Yes, Freddie tried to burn the house down tonight. Who is Freddie?

This is Freddie…

Freddie is my best friend’s snake. She’s had him for about a month, and tonight he took his chances on his first cage escape. In the process Freddie set the house on fire.

On his way out of his cage, he knocked his heat lamp over onto the living room floor. My friend came upstairs to find the living room full of smoke and the carpet burning.

Way to go Freddie!

Freddie is still AWOL at the moment, but we’re hoping he’ll come out of hiding sometime tonight.

Is Freddie a boa? I can’t tell too well in those pics. ^^; I hope you guys find him soon.

Heh, maybe the fire is a hint as to what he thinks about his captivity?

    He’s a python…still pretty young too.

Yeah he definitely doesn’t like being in the cage. He wants to be out on your shoulder all the time, so I think he was rebelling!

[…] when Freddie the python almost burned the house down? Freddie disappeared that night, and was never found. We searched everywhere for him with no luck. […]

You’re lucky that the fire was spotted so fast. I personally hate fire because man is nothing against it.

Fortunately I don’t keep any snake and the only pets I raise are fish :) . When I had my dog named Gina she was playing with electricity and broke wires. She got shocked, but survived :) . She was too very scared and she was hiding nearly all that day. After we gave them a lot of finest meat and after we spoke to her she came from the bath tub and acted normally.
