Attack Of The Shower Curtain

Have you ever been attacked by your own shower curtain? Nothing surprises me anymore in this house, and I had to admit I have been attacked by even my shower curtain a few times. I don’t know what it is about our bathroom, but when you’re in the shower the curtain gravitates towards you. No matter how hard you try to keep it stuck to the inside of the tub, it ends up under the water with you.
I do have a funny story about the shower curtain attacking me. Just a few weeks ago I was taking a shower, and Bubba, the pervert bulldog he is, did what he always does. He pawed at the curtain until he moved it enough to stick his head in the shower. He’s scared of actually getting in the tub, but if you’re in the shower, he wants to stick his head in there with you.
Well when he pawed at the curtain, he moved it far enough for it to get sucked under the spray. At this point I had shampoo in my hair and face wash on my face, so I had my eyes closed. I couldn’t see what was going on, but I felt something touch me. The next thing I knew the shower curtain was wrapped around me, and I was flailing my arms trying to get it off me, but every time I hit it, it would fly back because of the weird suction our shower creates under the water. I couldn’t open my eyes because I knew I’d end up with soap in them, so I finally had to yell for hubby to come save me from the shower curtain!
Times like that I really wish I had a ShowerBow. It’s an attachment for your shower curtain rod that ads a counterweight to tip the shower curtain out away from you. This creates a ton of extra space inside your shower for you while still keeping the curtain snug against the bottom and sides of your tub to prevent water from making it’s way outside of the tub. Unlike the curved rods that are on the market, when the Shower Bow isn’t in use it isn’t taking up extra space!
Now that I’ve told you about the shower curtain attacking me, I’ll definitely have to fill you in on the real story behind how I cracked my arm! Stay tuned!
Make It Work Please!

I’ll be running at close to 4megs then all of a sudden I’ll drop to less than a full meg. Everything will stop loading, and no matter what I do I can’t get my connection to work. Charter will be out here yet again tomorrow.
How many times have I said I’m ready to switch to dsl? Hubby just won’t agree! I’m so close to doing it anyway without telling him!

Allergy Eyes
Permalink | Shared On: 28 Apr 08 | Filed As: HealthThe rain is still coming down, and I’m still sneezing. I was hoping the rain would wash all the pollen out of here, but it hasn’t done it yet. It stopped raining for a couple hours earlier, so Hubby took the bike out for a short ride. Before he could ride I had to help him wipe the bike down. Our normally black bike was solid yellow from all that pollen, and the rain had blown under the carport making it wet and sticky. It was a mess.
Of course I’ve been sneezing ever since. My allergy meds totally aren’t cutting it this year. I was about to order some more of my prescription allergy eye drops, but I received a sample from Bausch & Lomb of their Alaway™ drops, so I decided to give them a try first. So far I’m liking the drops. My eyes haven’t been all itchy today unlike with my prescription drops. Now I’m just waiting to say if the drops really relieve symptoms for up to 12 hours like the company claims.
