Fishin’ In The Rain

It’s like a madhouse in here this morning. My cousin and our friend Lukas stayed over last night since they want to take Hubby fishing this morning. They wanted to get an early start so they can get the fishing done before it gets hot out and before the rain hits.

They didn’t tell me any of this. I discovered it when the alarm went off about 30 minutes ago. Of course I’ve been up all night, so I didn’t even pay attention to the fact that the alarm was set. I just thought they were crashing here because they didn’t want to drive home late. The boys didn’t head to bed until 2 am.

I heard Hubby take off for the shower, so I went to investigate. That’s when I found out about their plans, and I had to laugh. None of them thought to actually check the weather last night. They jsut figured the rain would be moving in later today. If they’d asked me or turned the PS2 off long enough to look at the weather channel they would see the rain hit in the middle of the night.

They all decided to go ahead and get up anyway so we can all go get breakfast. If I’d known about this I would have taken a shower earlier, but now I’m waiting for the water to heat up again. Our hot water heater is so small 1 person barely gets a shower before it goes cold on you. I really wish we had one of those tankless water heaters, but instead I have to sit here waiting for the water to warm up. Then I’ve got to run in there hoping I get to the shower before anyone else realizes the water is heated up again.

My house, I’ve got dibs on shower right? Then again I bet the boys stink worse than I do!

I Haz Returnz!

Good evening everybody. I know I’ve been kind of MIA the past few days, but never fear. I have returned!

Ok don’t everybody get all excited at once!

I did sit down last night to try to write a few posts, but after writing a review of some products on my review blog my arm started to ache. I decided to give it a little more rest before returning, so I spent most of the day today with pain medication and plenty of naps.

I only left the house long enough to make a much needed run to the grocery store. I had no choice but to pick up some dog food and a few cat supplies. I don’t think Alley would have been very happy without any cat litter.

I’m definitely extremely behind on my mail right now, so if you’ve sent me anything it might take me a few days to get back to you. My yahoo groups mail will just have to wait as I don’t feel like sitting here sorting through over 600 emails at the moment.

So, how has everybody been while I’ve been gone?
