Freddie Has Returned!

Remember when Freddie the python almost burned the house down? Freddie disappeared that night, and was never found. We searched everywhere for him with no luck. After 2 weeks Freddie was replaced by “Freddie #2″, and 5 year old Little A never new the difference. Allison just pretended we’d found Freddie.

Well tonight we were busy loading up the bikes for the trip to Deal’s Gap tomorrow, and Lukas yelled out, “Gixxer’s got a snake in his mouth!” Gixxer is the 6 mth old weimaraner puppy. Sure enough we chased him down, and not only did he have a snake in his mouth, but he was prancing around carrying Freddie #1!

Gixxer ran over to Ben and basically laid Freddie #1 in his hands. Other than being a little skinny from being on the run for 1 day shy of a month, Freddie was perfectly fine. He didn’t bite Gixxer, and Gixxer didn’t bite him.

Of course 5 year old Little A now thinks Freddie’s brother came to visit, so he named the original Freddie “Lucky Freddie”.

In the end Allison’s happy she’s got original Freddie back. She didn’t want anything bad happening to him, and she did want two pythons. We just thought we’d never see original Freddie again!
