Running My Legs Off

I just finished explaining to two of my friends how my life has turned into a total unorganized mess over the last couple of weeks.  My house looks like a train wreck, and I slowly feel my life going in that direction.

Because I’m the one who works from home, I’m the one everyone calls when they need help with something.  I hate running from place to place all day and coming home to realize I haven’t done anything I needed to get accomplished all day.  I’ve ran my legs off for everyone else.  That’s kind of how I’ve felt this week.

Run here for Nana.  Pick up cousin from school because she’s not feeling well.  Run back home, let the dog out.  Run to my mom’s to make sure she turned the iron off this morning.  Go to the pasture to feed the orphan calf.  Oops, there’s thunder.  Run back home to shut the PC’s off.  Run to Home Depot to grab a new tape measure for Hubby.  Run Run Run!

Yesterday I ran around all day and still had to try to bid on my parts list on Ebay through my cell phone.  That was horrible!  I’ll never try doing that again for the simple fact that it took me at least a minute to send in each bid.  I just don’t have the patience to sit there timing something like that, especially when it’s the one part we really need, and I miss it by $1 because my last bid goes through a full minute after I send it leaving me no time to throw in one last bid.

By the time I got home last night I didn’t feel like doing anything, yet we still had to go to dinner with Hubby’s family, and then we had to get our hoist setup around the bike so he could start disassembling the front end.

I wanted to get some housework done today, but I’ve already ran my legs off this morning.  It’s almost 11, and I still haven’t found time for a shower.  I decided to use the few minutes I have to let off some steam here.  I’m going to try to jump in the shower, then I’m right back out the door again!
