Don’t Drag Me To The Mall

Normally I absolutely loathe shopping. You practically have to drag me into a brick and mortar if I know I’m going to have to actually hunt for what I need like clothes.

I don’t mind grocery shopping so much because it’s something I have to do. I know what I’m going for, and I’m in and out the store in a very short time period. I go in prepared for the simple fact that I know it won’t take me half as long to do my shopping.

With that said, my best friend asked me to go to the mall with her today to look for a swimsuit. I’m sorry Alli, but I hate the mall more than I hate most brick and mortars. A 45 minute drive to get there, then circling numerous times to find a parking spot just aren’t appealing with gas prices this high. On top of that the shops in the mall hike prices of products. I can get the same thing in a local shop or online for much less.

I couldn’t go with her anyway. I had to go to the doctor with my Grandpa this morning, but if I had went to the mall it would have been a long painful trip. I would have probably locked myself in B&BW while she shopped for the swimsuit.

Instead of suffering through that excruciating experience, I gave her another option. I order almost all my swimsuits from Newport News. I love the choices they have, the sales, and the swimsuits I’ve ordered from there have outlasted any others I’ve bought locally. I showed her a few I thought she’d like, gave her the link, and then passed along a coupon for 20% off as well as another for free shipping. Why go to the mall to search for something you might like when you can shop online, find exactly what you want, and find a great deal to go with it?
