Everyday Randomness

On a good note I did do something nice this morning.

With all the rain we got last night the turtles were out in full force. Hubby ran up to the store this morning to gas up the truck while waiting on the guys that ride with him. On his way back he spotted a box turtle in the road, so he hurried out to grab it before it got ran over. When he got to our driveway he spotted another one trying to cross in front of our house. When I took Bubba out to do his business a couple hours later I spotted 2 more, so of course I had to help them across to safety.

I walked them both down the path to the creek, and I left them there where they don’t have to worry about cars zooming by. Surprisingly both of them came out of their shells and were quick to pose for a few pictures. One was a little more friendly than the other, but eventually they both popped out to say hi.

I wish I’d had my good camera with me, but moments like this are why I’m glad I have a camera phone. At least I always have some sort of camera with me at all times. Here’s a few of the shots I snapped. Don’t forget to click for the larger versions.
