Everyday Randomness

Yep, I’m staying in today.  We’ve been running our legs off all weekend, and I decided today I didn’t want to leave the house.  I was at home maybe an hour yesterday, and I wasn’t happy because I’d planned to stay home so I could work on a few craft projects I’ve been trying to finish for months.  Hubby had other plans though, so we stayed out and about all day.

Friday I twisted my ankle.  It wasn’t a bad twist, but it was enough to keep me off my feet for a couple hours.  Saturday morning it was feeling a lot better, but after being on my feet all day it was killing me last night.  I think I need to stay at home today and off my feet.  Besides, I need to keep an extra eye on Bubba.

He went to the vet yesterday, and he’s got full blown bilateral ear infections.  He has chronic eye, skin, and ear problems, so he’s on an enzyme skin and ear treatment for that.  When his anal glands got infected it caused his chronic stuff to go haywire as usual, so now he’s got the ear infections.  He’s getting topical treatments twice a day and antibiotics twice a day.  I feel bad for the poor guy, but at least he’s so doped up he mostly wants to sleep all day.  I’m hoping the meds will help him to start feeling better in a day or two.

I’m going to give him his next dose of meds, then I think I’m going to plop myself on the couch to play some Guitar Hero Aerosmith Edition.  Hubby’s already beat the game on Expert, so I’ve got some catching up to do.
