As much as I’m loving this rain we’re getting, I wish it hadn’t hit us all at once. Hubby has missed 2 full days of work, and it’s looking like he might miss a third tomorrow. Having only 2 days on his paycheck it going to hurt this week. Luckily I do keep cash tucked away just for times like this, and I’ve got my own bit of income coming in this week. It still sucks he’s missing so much work though.
Missing so much time this week means he’ll be working Labor Day, and he might possibly be working Saturday and Sunday, too, if the boss will let him. If not it’s really going to hurt our beach trip because it’s going to put the whole crew behind, and Hubby will be afraid to take his 2 days off for the trip because he’ll be afraid some of the guys won’t get their jobs done.
Grrrr. It’s frustrating me right now just thinking about that. We will NOT miss this trip.

I'm not exactly sure, but I'll try to look it up. It's definitely a good bit, though, and we've had flash flood warnings out for two days because of cells dropping a couple inches of rain w/in an hour in some places. I'm just happy to have rain at all!
