I think his biggest problem is that he has no feeling in his right thumb and first 2 fingers. His nerves were damaged from a dog bite, but he does all the damage to his left hand while he's cutting with his right. I wonder if maybe he can't feel how much pressure he's putting on the knife. I could understand if he were cutting with the left and running the knife into the right. He'd probably never feel the cut.

I've been there with the bleeding food, only it's always veggies for me. Ugh I have this weird thing about touching raw chicken. I just can't do it w/o gloves on, so I always make Hubby do it.

Congrats on the TV.. Last week I was trimming some chicken and dropped the serrated edge into the top of my thumb. I was wondering why the chicken was bleeding all of a sudden... =0
