His nerves were damaged from a dog bite, but he does all the damage to his left hand while he's cutting with his right. I wonder if maybe he can't feel how much pressure he's putting on the knife. I could understand if he were cutting with the left and running the knife into the right. He'd probably never feel the cut.<br><br>I've been there with the bleeding food, only it's always veggies for me. Ugh I have this weird thing about touching raw chicken.
