Filled Under: Family & Friends, Personal

I had planned to spend a good bit of time today on my blogs, but that didn’t happen. I’ve been thinking about setting up an electronics blog, but that will have to wait ’til later. This is actually the first chance I’ve had to sit down at the pc all day that didn’t involve looking something up for Hubby. I’ve just been in this go and do mood, and I took advantage of that to get some things accomplished.

I had boxes and boxes of stuff still stacked up in the corner of my office that was given to us when Hubby’s Grandma passed away. Almost all of it was kitchen stuff, so I spent a couple hours going through the boxes, unpacking stuff, tossing my old stuff that can be replaced by the newer stuff I got from her, and stuff like that.  Then I organized my cabinets and china cabinet since I haven’t done that in so long I can’t find anything.

One box contained a gorgeous holiday china set that I didn’t know was in there. I knew I offered to take the one set my mother in law was getting rid of, but I didn’t know this second set was in there. Now I just have to decide if I want to use my typical “kiddie” looking snowman set on my table this year, or if I want to go a little more adult with it with this set of gold rimmed china.

By no means am I decorating yet, but I did pull out some Christmas stuff to go through. I figure it’s about time I go through all these extra boxes I have that I never use. I’m going to freecycle a bunch of it next week, and whatever isn’t taken by Friday will be taken to Goodwill next weekend.

Now I’m off to throw my phone at a wall or something. Thank god my replacement will be here this week. On top of all the other problems I’ve had with it lately, now it’s stopped ringing. It’s not that the ringers aren’t working. The calls aren’t coming through at all! I can call out just fine, but no calls come through. Hubby tried calling me, and even though it didn’t ring or give any info about anyone trying to call, he let it ring a couple times on his phone, I hit send, and it answered the call. That tells me it’s something seriously fOOked with the phone.

So yeah, as a note to my real life friends, don’t try to call me. Just text me because I can receive texts no problem. If you need to talk, text me and I’ll call you back!
