I didn’t plan to spend the entire weekend away from the pc, but things kind of turned out that way. What started off as a planned weekend for just the two of us turned into a very sad weekend.
All V-day festivities came to a halt when we got some really sad news. Hubby’s family lost a very close friend Friday night, and we were all hit with the shock of her death. Missy, you were a wonderful woman who will be greatly missed. I hope Karma comes back and put’s the bastard flat on his ass.
My mom would tell me to be ashamed of myself for saying that, but it’s hard not to. Missy was a wonderful woman who we all loved very much. She has been a close family friend for years. She battled cancer and won only to be met by this horrible death, and words can’t express how much we will all miss her. This is really the first time I’ve even been able to talk about it outside of the family because none of us can really find the words to say how we feel at this point.
My heart goes out to her sons who now have to make their way through life without parents.
