Today is the first day of “normal” life again.  Then again I can’t say life is ever normal around here with everything we have going on, but Hubby is back to work full time today and things are nice and quiet again.  You don’t know how happy it makes me that he and my FIL are both back to work!  I once again find myself daydreaming about how it’ll be possible to finish the renovations we need to get done before our baby girl arrives…and we might even be able to afford that outdoor furniture I’ve been wanting, too!

I did spend a good bit of the morning lounging around in bed, but I figure I need to take advantage of that all I can.  First of all the baby is definitely most active in the morning time around 9am, so I really enjoy laying there feeling her running her little marathon in my tummy.  I know that’s something I’m going to miss the heck out of when she gets here, so I’m going to enjoy every single kick, punch, and roll while I can.

I also realize that once she arrives there will be no more lazy mornings in bed, so I might as well enjoy a few more while I can.  Now I can do it without listening to Hubby play video games in the next room or without him popping in to ask me a question every 5 minutes.  Instead I get a good 30 minutes of relaxing “Mommy/Daughter” time.

I’ve exhausted that time today, though, and now I really do need to get myself to work.  Since it’s Monday I have a ton of stuff piled up that needs to get done.  I think I’ll fix myself a bite to eat, start some laundry, and get to work.
