On one hand today seems like it’s flying by because I don’t have enough time to accomplish everything I really want and need to get done today. On the other hand I feel like today is also dragging because I’ve got a gassy child who has practically refused to sleep all day. She woke up at 9am, and she’s been wide awake almost constantly since. I think we were able to get her to nap for about 45 minutes after lunch.
I was hoping to do a little shopping today, but that will just have to wait for another day when I’m not taking turns with Hubby rocking a fussy baby. I do have to send Hubby to town though. He needed a pair of waterproof rubber boots for a job he’s doing tomorrow, so my Dad picked up a pair for him on his way over to see Elliana earlier. Unfortunately a size 13 ended up being way too narrow, so he’s going to have to return them tonight. Hopefully they’ll have a size 14 in stock, but I won’t be surprised if they don’t.
I also want him to check the price on a couple of copper kitchen sinks I’ve had my eye on. We’ve been needing to replace our old kitchen sink that has rusted in the bottom, but we just haven’t had the time or cash flow to do it until now. The faucet got fixed, now I want to replace the sink while we have the cash to do it.
