Elliana was pretty colicky most of the weekend, so it was definitely a long one.  Yesterday wasn’t so bad.  We took her to my Grandparent’s church, then we ended up going to see Santa at Walmart.  You got a free 5×7 and had the option to buy one of two packages.  The packages were cheap, $5-10, so we went ahead and got the $5 one.  Now we’ll have 10 Christmas cards of her screaming her head off in Santa’s lap, and those should keep the grandparents, aunts, and uncles happy.

After that we stopped by the store where Hubby’s mom works to show off Elliana’s cute little dress, and we found out Hubby’s truck driver uncle from Alabama was on his way there.  We hung around the area for a bit so he could meet Elliana.  (Are you jealous Aunt Kay?)

Unfortunately with the exception of the screaming fit with Santa she slept most of the day.  I tried to keep her awake a good bit, but we were in and out of the car so much she was constantly put right back to sleep.  In the end last night’s sleep schedule went right out the window, and I spent the majority of the night fighting sleep while she stared at the ceiling.  I guess it’s no surprise now she doesn’t want to nap today.  I was able to get her to sleep for about 45 minutes around noon, and now she’s wide awake again.

Thank goodness Hubby had the day off work today, so between listening to him play his video games he’s helped me a good bit.  Currently he’s rocking her while lecturing me on how he seriously needs a xbox 360. He says it’s because he can’t play online with most of his friends because they have the 360 and he has a PS3. Well I say oh well. We got the Wii and the PS3 because that’s what he wanted. He should have thought about that before he chose what console to buy. SleHe can think about that and let it sink in while I’m in the shower. I think now would be the time for me to jump in there while she’s being quiet in his arms.
