It's horrible. It's even been all over the news about how outrageous power bills are right now for people on BR. They were interviewing people from agencies who have lines of people trying to find help to pay $400-500 power bills. Ours isn't the only one that seems way off, but when you call they refuse to really look into it. They even sent out a pamphlet this month that's total bs saying bottom line is this blah blah blah. I've got my letter to the AG written. I just need to get to the post office so I can send it certified. Somebody needs to be looking into it! We're on a freakin' co-op for Christ's sake! They're charging everybody to be charging!

I keep thinking about all the little old people on social security and stuff. Do they eat and freeze to death or pay their power bill and starve to death? Some of them live off $400-500 a month!

There is definitely something wrong with that! No way can your power bill go up $100 each month when your furnace isn't electric! Plus, that guy who was out of town? Either someone is pulling power from his lines or the power company is just charging him to be charging him!

I would definitely write the to AG and encourage others to do so as well so they can take a look at that!
