I’m throwing in the towel and saying life, throw what you will at us.  Apparently that is what is going to happen whether I want it to or not, so I might as well cooperate.  Ben hit me with some bad news this afternoon.  His boss called to say they lost a bid on the major project they were about to have, so that leaves them out of work for at least a few weeks. 

This comes after he told them they would have 3 weeks of downtime then turned around and said not to worry because he had secured another 2 houses.  Apparently something went south because they’re looking at a lot more than 3 weeks of downtime, and even worse, tomorrow is the last day of work.

So, yeah, that leaves us with my income only until he finds something else, and because of all the medical stuff and other family issues we’ve been dealing with I haven’t been able to make much at all lately. I guess it’s time to get one of those wholesale vinyl banners to hang across the porch advertising my computer repair services.  Maybe that will bring in a bit of extra business.

Oh how I wish I could go back to working a “real” job myself, but it’s just not possible right now.  Not even considering the situation with Ellie and daycare/babysitting who wants to hire a pregnant chick?  Yeah, there aren’t many options out there at all!
