Do You Know Me?

I’m not good at doing the typical About Me’s, so I thought I would give you some basic info and then do a 100 Things About Me Quiz.

Basic Info:

My name’s Jenn, and I’m a total southern girl. I’m 25 years old, and I’ve lived at the base of the mountains in South Carolina my whole life. I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else. I’ve been married to my wonderful hubby for almost 4 years, and I don’t know what I would do without him. I’m a mom to a 4 year old gray and white mixed cat named Alley and a 13 month old Olde English Bulldogge, Bubba. Hopefully there will be some human babies to add to that list in the near future.

In my spare time I love to blog, ride motorcycles, stumble for hours, play games on the pc as well as ps2 & xbox 360, search for freebies & samples online, and read. It’s amazing how much I read in a week, normally at least 2 books. I spend as much time as I can with my friends and family. I don’t know what I would do without them.

I just started a business with some of my really great friends called 10PointSolutions. We’ve already got some great customers, and we’re working to get our website fully up and running right now. 100 Things About Me:

1. I was a preemie…I was born exactly one month early to the exact day. Think the Doctors were a little off?
2. I’m a lefty.
3. But I use scissors with my right hand.
4. I’ll be a Clemson Football fan until the day I die.
5. I’m a die hard cheesecake fiend.
6. I smoke way too much.
7. I share my family tree with Lucille Ball…yes the one from I love Lucy.
8. I analyze, then I over analyze every little detail of everything.
9. I should have graduated a year early with 28 credits (we only need 24), but the stupid state changed the law my junior year stating everyone had to complete 12th grade to receive a diploma.
10. My mom wanted to name me Laura Lee after my great grandmothers, but changed her mind when she saw my face. I’m glad she didn’t. I didn’t want to sound like Sara Lee bread or Laura Lynn Ingles brand.
11. I’m a southern girl born and bred. I’ll always be true to my roots.
12. In 5th grade I got in trouble for saying “ain’t”. My teacher punished me with writing “Ain’t isn’t a word” 500 times. My daddy marched into the school with the word highlighted in his dictionary.
13. I dropped out of college after 1 year with a pre-med major, biology minor. I had $16,000 in scholarships each year, but I couldn’t afford another $12,000 in loans each year.
14. My Chinese zodiac is a rooster.
15. I’m definitely a Scorpio by birth and definition.
16. I have 1 tattoo of a sun/moon combo on my lower back. I can’t wait to get my next one.
17. I’ve never had my ears pierced. I’m scared of sticking a needle through my ear, but I want a nose piercing.
18. I share my birthday with the United States Marines.
19. I’m of Scotch-Irish heritage.
20. But I married a Russian-Italian. We’re going to have some mutt kids!
21. I lost a child when I was 20.
22. Now I want to be a mother more than anything.
23. As a child I wanted to be a marine biologist.
24. I am my father’s child. I look like him, act like him, and think like him.
25. In high school my Chorus teacher called me Jess. He said I didn’t look like a Jenn, I looked like a Jess. Now with my married name, my initials spell out JES.
26. I’m super lazy.
27. I don’t really like sweets that much.
28. I have 1 little sister, Brittany.
29. I consider my 2 sister in laws, one older and one younger, more like sisters.
30. I spend more time/get along with my in laws better than I do with my own parents.
31. I love my grandparents dearly. Without them I don’t know where I would be.
32. My pets are my babies. I don’t think I will ever be without a pet.
33. Midori Coladas are the best ever…in my opinion.
34. I can’t imagine owning a dog that isn’t a bullie.
35. I’m organized in my own crazy little way. Everything’s a mess, but I know where everything is!
36. My shoe sizes varies between 7-8 1/2 depending on the shoe.
37. I HATE pink clothes. I only wear pink if it’s super super awesome cute or it’s laundry day.
38. I hardly ever wear shorts outside my own house. I have too many scars on my legs from my Tomboy days.
39. I grew up on a farm.
40. I spend my summers helping my daddy bail hay.
41. I really did have a pony growing up. Her name was Starbrite….yes just like Rainbow Brite! My grandpa gave her to me when I was 11 months old. She passed away 2 weeks after my 22nd birthday.
42. There is no feeling that can compare to 130mph on a motorcycle.
43. I really do believe four wheels move the body, but two wheels move the soul.
44. I think Valentino Rossi and Ami James are the hottest men God put on this planet. Just don’t tell hubby!
45. I’m a sucker for TLC, History Channel and National Geographic.
46. I might look normal on the outside, but I’m a candy raver at heart…minus all the druggy stuff.
47. I <3 EDM.
48. I design sig tags when I’m upset or angry. It calms me down.
49. I throw things when I’m mad.
50. I will do almost anything for a piece of Italian Cheese Pie from Colombos…or a good philly cheese steak.
51. I tried to dye my hair blonde once when I was a teenager. It came out red.
52. I’m only 5′2″.
53. My normal schedule is “night-owl” mode. I just don’t feel right if I’m not sleeping during the day & working at night.
54. I got married when I was 21.
55. I can’t believe I’ve been married 4 years now. Time really does fly.
56. I have to visit Ibiza, Spain at least once before I die.
57. I absolutely love the mountains. I couldn’t imagine living anywhere flat.
58. I watch Miami Ink every week.
59. You don’t want to see me if I miss a new episode of Grey’s Anatomy.
60. I don’t play well with other girls. I only have 3 close female friends.
61. I refuse to let people take advantage of me, especially companies I’m paying. If it’s not right, I’m going to bitch until you fix it.
62. I’ve realized just how hard it is to come up with 100 things about me.
63. I’m allergic to raw onions.
64. I have weird food habits I developed as a child. I eat cantaloupe with ketchup and sometimes I put peanut butter on turkey sandwhiches.
65. I love candles. I’ll put one anywhere I can find a spot for it.
66. I haven’t worn a dress since my wedding.
67. I’m addicted to Dots…the candy.
68. I love reading, especially books by Janet Evanovich.
69. When I start a book, I normally have to finish it in one day. I get so hooked on that book that I won’t do anything else until it’s finished.
69. I love building computers, but I hate building them for others.
70. I’ve thought about returning to school for my computer tech degree.
71. I’m a certified solder specialist.
72. I love flip flops. I don’t care what season it is, if I can wear them I will.
73. I love all things celestial.
74. I’m a frog freak. I decorated the bathroom in frogs, and I tried to decorate the bedroom in them, too, but hubby stopped me after I added the 5th stuffed animal. Now all my frogs live in the guest room.
75. I’ve always wanted a pet monkey.
76. I love the smell of fresh linen. I’ll buy anything if it’s in that scent.
77. I love the smell of fresh cut hay. I look forward to working in the hay field every summer just because of that smell.
78. My favorite colors are silver, blue, and orange. During football season I’ll wear orange almost every day.
79. I used to play Neopets everyday, then I found blogging.
80. I love to cook, but I hate doing dishes. That’s why I hardly ever cook anymore!
81. I love what the beach does to my already natural wavy hair. I wish I could have beach hair everyday.
82. I love jewelry, but I feel weird wearing it.
83. I bite my nails. I’ve tried to quit, but I just can’t stand having nails.
84. Most girls want breast implants. I want a reduction!
85. I have a scar between my eyes from a staple gun….it fell off a ladder and attacked my head.
86. DYBS are the bane of my existence. (thank you Sam for reminding me!)
87. I own two irons. I’ve used 1 of them once.
88. I hate doing laundry. I always start a load and forget about it. (That reminds me. I need to put the clothes in the dryer.)
89. I have a thunderstorm phobia.
90. I love the smell of Happy for Men and Old Spice Red Zone After Hours.
91. Closeup Toothpaste reminds me of the way my dad always smelled before going to work.
92. This year I am exactly half my mothers age.
93. I’m a bargain shopper. I always hit up the dollar stores before I shop anywhere else.
94. There is nothing better than sitting on my front porch with a bowl of homemade banana ice cream during the heat of the summer.
95. I prefer surveys with questions. I think it’s just too hard to come up with 100 things on my own.
96. I have a chicken pox scar on my left eyelid. My lower lashes don’t grow in that spot, so I have to use extra eyeliner to hide it.
97. I love pizza with mushrooms, black olives and pineapple.
98. I love brussel sprouts.
99. I don’t tan very much at all. I’ve learned to live with being pale.
100. I wish someone would tie up Ami James and lock him in my closet for me. I’d never let him go. *evil grin*
