It’s time to vote for your favorite entry in the Renuzit TriScents Home Makeover contest that I told you about awhile back. You’ll find all the entries in the semi-finalist gallery, and I hope you’ll all pick a favorite video. You can vote once per day through June 7th, so get to voting. Which video entry is my favorite?

It was a tough call, but in the end I had to make a choice.

My favorite is 3 year old Ashley pleading with Renuzit to make over her home after her family experienced “triscents of their own” in the form of beautiful triplets! The family’s got too much to deal with with 4 little ones now, so of course they don’t have the time or the money to fix up their home the way they would like! Hearing a 3 year old pronounce some very big words was enough to grab my vote! I’m sure life with 3 babies filling up a diaper bin has to be pretty stinky as well, so I think this family deserves a makeover!

A Bedroom Full of Cheerleaders

When I was a little girl I really wanted to be a cheerleader. When Halloween rolled around I always dressed up like a cheerleader, and I always told my dad (who is a huge Carolina fan) that I wanted to grow up to be a Clemson cheerleader! Never mind the fact that would mean I would have to stay in college forever.

Imagine my disappointment when I was finally old enough to try out for the cheerleading squad in middle school, but my mom wouldn’t let me. She said the skirts were too short, and she would not have her daughter flaunting herself on the sidelines. Bummer.

Well I can pretend I’m a cheerleader while the Squad 81 girls help me send cheers to all my friends who might be down on their luck. Don’t worry girls, I’ll only send these to my guy friends, but guys You’ll know when you’ve been hit by this hot cheery bunch!

How You Can Win $1,000

I totaly need to tell my dad about the Fingad.com contest I just heard about. I’ll show him how he can Win $1000 with FinGad, and it looks like it could be pretty fun for someone like him. He, as he says, “plays” in the stock market and he loves virtual investment type games.

Fingad.com is a new website where investors can get together with other investors to discuss investment strategies. The contest involves investing in a virtual market. The person who can pick the best stocks and earn the best return with their virtual money will win $1000.

It’s definitely something my dad would enjoy doing, and I might even have fun with it if I could figure out stocks, but when it comes to the stock market I’m clueless. I’ve contemplated investing before, but I always chicken out because I’m afraid I’ll choose the worst stocks ever.

Lots of Giveaways!

I have to admit I’ve definitely been slack here lately on entering blog contests. I’ve seen a lot of awesome ones that I’d like to enter, but by the time I remember to do so they’re over. Well that’s changing because I’m definitely entering the Hello Kitty Wallet Giveaway on Nanashi-Inc.net! I can definitely use a new wallet, and the one Joana is giving away is adorable!

Bubba has ripped up THREE of my wallets since Christmas, and I’ll be damned if I’ll let him near this one if I win it. If I don’t win I’ll still have to pick up a new wallet, but I can’t afford for him to eat them anymore. Heck, I couldn’t afford for him to eat them in the first place!

By the way, if you love Bath & Body Works stuff Joana has another contest going on right now, too. She’s giving away a full Sweet Pea set! I would enter this one, but I just splurged a couple weeks ago in Bath & Body Works. I bought enough Japanese Cherry Blossom stuff to last me well until next year!

Beer Drinkers Contest

Do you drink light beer? If you do you could be a winner just for participating in a quick survey with your mobile phone. I’m thinking about entering this little contest because you only have to answer 10 questions via text, and the chances of winning are about 1 in 1500. That’s pretty good odds. What could you win? The prize is a $300 Amazon Gift Certificate, and I could definitely use that!

The questions ask you about stuff like what kind of light beer you drink, the last time you drank a beer, and who you were with when you drank your last light beer. Those are pretty easy questions to answer, right?

I can already tell you I drank my last beer on New Year’s hanging out with all my friends at our New Year’s party. What kind was it? I’m a Bud Light girl.

The survey contest began March 1st and will end March 14th at at midnight, so check out the contest rules if you want to enter. Then all you have to do is text the word “beer” to 247365.
