A Book Meme

My wonderful friend Anna just tagged me for a meme. This one is definitely different because it’s a book meme, and it’s not asking you a bunch of questions. It actually requires you to do something!

The Rules:
1. Pick up the nearest book (of at least 123 pages).
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the next three sentences.
5. Tag five people.

Next Three Sentences- I was used to seeing him in SWAT dress with long hair, and I hadn’t immediately recognized him. I guess that was the point. “Are you in disguise?” I asked.

What Do You Think?

I love doing memes, and I tend to spread them out across blogs, but lately I’ve been wondering if I should keep all the memes to one blog. What do you think? Should I keep splitting my memes between two blogs, or should I start doing them only on this blog since it is my personal one? I’ve been doing Unconscious Mutterings on Informal Critique each week (when I remember), so now I think I’m going to move that one to this blog from now on.

Just when you think I haven’t told you enough about myself, my wonderful sis-in-law, Samantha, has tagged me yet again. I really don’t have anyway to get out of doing this one because she’d probably hunt me down and beat me with a remote! (yeah that’s happened but not to me yet)

Here’s how you play: Once you’ve been tagged you have to write a blog with 10 weird, random, facts, habits or goals about yourself, at the end choose 10 people to be tagged, list their names and why you tagged them. 1) I have a Q-tip fetish. I’m walk in the bathroom at least 5 times a day just to clean my ears. I like the way Q-tips feel.

2) I really really want to start a family. (You probably already know this though) If I’ve got anything to do with it Sam will have her #10 fulfilled soon.

3) I’m really insecure about my new haircut. Everyone loves it except me. Maybe it’s because it’s just totally not something I’d pick for myself.

4) I sucked my thumb when I was a kid. That thumb is shorter than the other now.
5) One of the people I consider one of my best friend’s in the world is someone I’ve never met in person.

6) I own every single Backstreet Boys cd ever made…even the imports. I used to be a huge closet fan, but I haven’t listened to any of them in years.

7) I own all the holiday Barbie’s except one. I’ve got the Clemson and Carolina cheerleader Barbie’s as well.

I hate my legs. No one really knows that, but it’s why I wear jeans all the time…even in the summer.

9) I’m secretly scared of getting old. I feel like time flies too much, and I’ll never accomplish everything I want to do in one lifetime.

10) I love eating raw peanuts. I’ll eat them until my stomach hurts.
