Deal’s Gap is a motorcycle resort in Western NC that my hubby, friends and I love to visit every chance we get. It’s known as The Gap to us who visit often. 318 curves in 11 miles is an awesome ride, and the experience is different everytime you visit. There is a rush you get knowing that you might not make it to the end with your bike still intact. That “tree of shame” is a monument to all the bikes that have went down over the years. It’s a great place to checkout if you’re into bikes and curves.
With Spring coming upon us, it’s time to get back to riding. Of course my hubby and I both ride year round, but most of our friends choose to keep off 2 wheels during the colder months. This means it’s time to plan a big trip to the Gap to celebrate the warmer months upon us. My cousin and I were just laughing about taking his new pocket bike to the Gap. He asked if I thought it would be too much for the little thing. This got me into searching through videos, enjoying the scenes and preparing myself for the upcoming ride. I happened to stumble onto a video of a few guys riding pocket bikes down the Gap, and I must say it’s making me want to venture on up with my cousin’s new one this year. I can’t wait!
